Wendie Lee Blume Ihrke

Wendie Lee Blume Ihrke, 67, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, wife of James Howard Ihrke passed away on Friday October 15, 2010.   All services will be held at a later date. ARRANGEMENTS BY J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.  

Mrs. Wendie Ihrke, born May 12, 1943 in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late Marshall Blume and Helen Frank Blume.  Wendie was Episcopalian and loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother.  She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

Surviving Wendie are her husband, Jim Ihrke; her children; Tom Ihrke and his wife, Lolly of Mt. Pleasant, SC,  Laura O'Sullivan and her husband, David of Northbrook, IL, and Matt Ihrke and his wife, Kristen also of Northbrook, IL; her brother, Marshall Blume of Oxford, MD;  and her six grandchildren, Christine Ihrke, Jack Ihrke, Fiona O'Sullivan, Kieran O'Sullivan, Nick Ihrke and John Ihrke.
