Wayne Frederick Kasten, 89, of Goose Creek, SC husband of the late Dollie Janet Blake Kasten entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 10, 2026. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 15, 2026 at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 6:00 pm from 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.

Wayne was born May 28, 1937 in Oconomowoc, WI, son of the late Arthur Kasten and the late Florence Theresa Seegar Kasten. He retired from the US Air Force after 21 years of service. After retirement from the US Air Force he worked at Pearlstine Distributers for 20 years. He was a huge South Carolina Stingrays fan and a member of the Booster Club for the Stingrays from the start. He loved to wear his cowboy hat but most of all he loved being with his family.

He is survived by children: Sandra McCoy of Summerville, SC, Randy Kasten (Shari) of Charleston, SC, Alan Kasten of Goose Creek, SC and Dana Kasten (Cindy) of Summerville, SC; sixteen grandchildren and many loved great-grandchildren; and sibling, Corbi Kasten (Dale). He is also survived by  close family friends, Landon and Brian Goetz.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Melody Jean Wilson, brother, Donald Kasten, and sisters, Faye Whitney and Beverly Lull (Kenneth).
