Waverlyn Davis Rawlinson

Waverlyn "Wade" Davis Rawlinson, 82, of Hanahan, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 23, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 4, 2016, in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Summerton, SC.

Wade was born April 11, 1933 in Alcolu, South Carolina, son of the late Vincent Davis Rawlinson and Lillian Coleman Rawlinson. He was a retired pipefitter and served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was also a member of Carolina Masonic Lodge #375, A.F.M. in Hanahan.

He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Marek (David) of Hanahan; son, Kevin Rawlinson (Stephanie); three sisters, Mary R. Bridges of Charleston, Carolyn R. Blackwell (Eugene) of N. Charleston, and Dolly R. Thornton of Ladson; and two granddaughters, Mary Catherine and Ella Rawlinson of Florence.
