Watson Daniel Knight, III, 84, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of the late Mary Frances Nowell Knight entered into eternal rest Thursday, November 17, 2022. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 21, 2022 at the cryptside in the Live Oak Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 3093 Ashley River Road at 12:00 pm. The family will receive friends Sunday in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Watson was born August 6,1938 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Watson Daniel Knight, Jr. and Clarice Louise Peters. He was a graduate of St. Andrews High School and was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.  Watson retired from Henry J. Lee Distributors after 37 years of service as a sales representative.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, time with family and friends and riding his tractor on Johns Island. 

He is survived by daughter, Ruth Louise Wood of Purcellville, VA; son, Watson Daniel Knight, IV (Amber) of Charleston, SC; two granddaughters, Kelly Wood, Ainsley Knight; and grandson, Wyatt Knight.
