Wanda Kay Floyd, 72, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, May 16, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Her Funeral Service will be held Graveside, on Saturday, May 27, 2023, in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Phenix, Virginia. Wanda was born July 25, 1950, in Lynchburg, VA, a daughter of the late John Homer Floyd and the late Edith Wirt Floyd. She was an avid ballroom dancer and will be remembered as a loving, kind, graceful and strong person. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend with quick wit whose sense of humor brought light to everyone around her. 
 
She is survived by partner, Barry Lee Weissglass; her sons, Kirk Engler and John Engler (Sarah); her grandchildren, Carter, Vivien, Isabel and Emily.
