Walter A. Jennings

Walter A. Jennings, Jr., 62, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Monday, September 15, 2014. His Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 18, at St. Johannes Lutheran Church. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Walter was born July 25, 1952 in Charleston, SC, son of Walter A. Jennings and Pauline Steinberg Jennings. He attended St. Andrews High School and was a graduate of the University of South Carolina. He was a magistrate judge on Johns Island and worked as a Page at the State House during his college years. Walter owned and operated Jennings Limousine Service. He was a member of St. Johannes Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his brothers, Michael C. Jennings and his wife, Susan, of Johns Island, SC and Stephen A. Jennings of Charleston, SC; nephew, Chance Jennings; niece, Taylor Jennings; aunt and uncle, Joe and Thelma Schilling of Point South, SC; and his precious dog, Samantha.
