Walter Ambrose "Wally" Carey, III, 58, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 5, 2022. His memorial service will be held Sunday, September 11, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel at 1:00 pm.
 
Wally was born January 16, 1964 in Yonkers, NY, son of Walter Ambrose Carey Jr. and Suzanne Wiedemann Carey.  Career-wise, Wally had been film editor and video promo supervisor on Madison Avenue in New York. More recently, in the Charleston area, he was a professional photographer and real estate agent for AgentOwned Reality. Socially, Wally loved skiing, pickleball, bicycling, and cooking; along with just being with his many friends.
 
In addition to his parents, Wally is survived by his children, Catherine Kyle Carey (John Paul Simkovich) and Walter Ambrose "Boo" Carey IV; his brother, Brian Carey (Kelly) of CO; his sister, Brook Turpin (Tom) of CA; and his beloved friend Bernadine (Berni) Rozier.
