Entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, Walter Belue. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Belue are invited to attend his funeral service at J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 5 pm. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Saturday from 5 pm until 7 pm.

Born February 23, 1925 in Landrum, South Carolina, Walter was the son of the late Reverend W.B. Belue and Emma Bridgeman Belue. He served in the US Army during WWII and was a receptive of the Purple Heart. He was a retired Lt. with the SC Highway Patrol.

Survivors include his wife: Jean Barnett Belue of Johns Island; daughter: Kathy Ann Hovanec of Johns Island and a granddaughter: Allison Marie Hovanec. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy C. Smalser.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, N. Charleston, SC.
