Wahneta Mae Padgett Lindfors, widow of Frank Marsteller Lindfors, II, died Friday, October 14, 2022, of natural causes, at 12:46PM at her oldest daughter’s home in Baton Rouge, LA. Her strong heart, beautiful eyes, bright smile and always a kind word will be greatly missed by her family, but we rejoice in the fact that she now resides in heaven with her husband and many family members. Mrs. Lindfors viewing will be at Stuhr Northwoods Chapel on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at 2180 Greenridge Rd, North Charleston, SC. The service will immediately follow at 2:30PM. She will be buried at Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery, Azalea Rd. in North Charleston beside her husband.
Mrs. Lindfors was born on October 27, 1927, in Gainesville, Florida and spent most of her adult life living in Charleston, SC. She is survived by her son, Wayne Russell Lindfors and his spouse Sharon Davis Lindfors; her son Ralph Frank Lindfors and his spouse, Kathy G. Lindfors; her daughter, Fonda Lindfors New  and her spouse Kenneth W. New and her daughter, Mary Lindfors Williamson and her spouse, Kenneth D. Williamson. In addition, Mrs. Lindfors had fourteen (14) grandchildren, thirty-five (35) great grandchildren and two (2) great-great grandchildren that knew her as Grandma and Nana. 
Her 14 grandchildren are: Russell Wayne Lindfors, Frank Marsteller Lindfors, III, Dennis P. Lindfors, Rebecca J. Lindfors Minor, Ralph F. Lindfors, Jr., Jason P. New, John F. Kearns, Jady C. New, Hope New Proctor, Mary E. Kearns Ruiz, Rachel E. Kearns Laymoun, Sarah K. Kearns Sims, Darin M. Williamson and Kenneth Ryan Williamson. 
Her 35 great grandchildren are: Sarah Lindfors McDonald, Savannah F. Lindfors, Katherine E. Lindfors, Gracie K. Lindfors, Emily N. Lindfors, Lauren M. Lindfors, Stella G. Lindfors, Gibson W. Lindfors, Lucas P. Lindfors, Camille A. Lindfors, Kate R. Lindfors, Neko C. Lindfors, Rayne Minor, Nora Kate New, Jack L. Watson, Charlotte J. New, Jackson A. C. Long, Harper Rose Kearns, Audrey E. New, Caleb A. New, Owen M. New, Christian A. Proctor, Opal C. Proctor, Seth E. Proctor, Charles J. Proctor, Gracen A. Proctor, Ivy E. Ruiz, Arya E. Laymoun, Laila Mae Sims, Natalie R. Williamson, Aiden M. Williamson, Tristian J. Loewen, Jersey J. Loewen, Wyatt J. Williamson, Elijah N. Williamson. 
Her two great-great-grandchildren are: Hayden M. McDonald and Aubrey F. McDonald.
