W. Carl Wiggins

W. Carl Wiggins, IV, aka "Big Russ" of James Island, SC, passed away June 5, 2010. He was 39 years old. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at six o'clock in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's Downtown Chapel one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private. Russ was born December 19, 1970, in Charleston, SC, the son of W. Carl "Rusty" Wiggins, III and Donna Hollingsworth Herold. He was a member of James Island Baptist Church. "Russ" attended and graduated James Island High School then continued his studies at North Greenville College and was a member of the football team. He continued as an avid athlete throughout his life, and attained his IFPA certification from the International Fitness Professionals Association, competed as a professional body builder on national levels and was self-employed as a personal trainer. Russ was a very loyal and caring person to all of his family and many lifetime friends with a heart as big as himself. His free spirit and enjoyment of life kept him as well as others entertained as they traveled together through his short passage of this life. He is survived by his Father and Stepmother: W. Carl "Rusty" Wiggins, III and his wife Pamela of Fort Mill, SC; Mother: Donna Herold of Arizona; Included among the family are three cousins: Leigh Morillo, Lauren Beckley and Dana Rogers. He will be dearly missed by his father, family and dedicated friends till we all meet once again. Memorials may be made to Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Road, James Island, SC 29412.
