Vivian Delores Peterson Scrughan

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of May 13, 2011, Vivian Delores Peterson Scrughan, widow of Joseph Martin Scrughan.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in Ashley River Baptist Church Monday, May 16, 2011, at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Sunday between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Scrughan was born August 29, 1926 in Charleston, SC, a daughter of the late Daniel J. Peterson and the late Martha Cason Wilder.  She was a member of Ashley River Baptist Church, where she worked as a daycare worker, was a member of the Senior Choir and a member of the Tell Sunday School Class.

She is survived by three daughters, Delores S. Staley of Moncks Corner, Karen S. Wendland and Mary C. Hayes, both of Charleston; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
