Vivian Flowers McCants, 90, of Ravenel, SC, widow of the late Joseph V. McCants, Sr. went to sleep in Jesus on April 30, 2021 and is awaiting Resurrection Day.

Vivian was born April 27, 1931 in Bude, MS, daughter of the late Hiram Clark Flowers and Zelma Durham Flowers. Vivian served as Community Service Director for the Charleston Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years, taking food, medication, and other goods to numerous people in need in the Charleston area. She was also involved in the Church School, acting as a Board member, School Board Chairman and Home and School Leader for many years. She poured heart and soul into the well-being of many students, tutoring reading, and leading out in many fund-raisers. She also worked with her husband at McCants Glass and Carpet for many years and ran Lakeview Campground.

She is survived by her children whom she loved dearly, daughters, Kathy Richards, husband Eddie, Cynthia McCants, husband Willie Tezza, Tina McCants, husband Al Williams, her sons, Joseph McCants, Jr. and Dale McCants, wife Wendy, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
