Vivian Maurine Bracewell

Vivian Maurine Dauphin Bracewell, 96, wife of the late Joseph Riley Bracewell of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Monday, June 13, 2011. All services will be held at a later date in Jacksonville, FL. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. 

Mrs. Bracewell was born May 27, 1915 in Brantley, Alabama, daughter of the late Burrie Dauphin and Alice Colquitt Dauphin.  She was a homemaker, an avid oil painter, and loved to spend time with her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her. 

She is survived by her two sons, Thomas D. Bracewell, and his wife, Jacki of Alexandria, VA and Joseph M. Bracewell and his wife, Amy of Mt. Pleasant, SC; four grandchildren, Phillip Bracewell, Paul Bracewell, Elizabeth Stiles and Vivian Bracewell; four great grandchildren, Wesley Bracewell, Mackayla Bracewell, Elijah Stiles and Martin Stiles; and one nephew, Chuck Muckenfuss.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Charleston County EMS (Mt. Pleasant Station), 1485 Folly Road, Charleston, SC  29412.
