Virginia Inez Harmon Linton, 72, of Summerville, South Carolina, widow of Irwin Grier Linton entered into eternal rest Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 7, 2012 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 1:00 pm. Entombment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel. Virginia was born January 26, 1940 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Allen Frank Harmon and Ruth Bradwell Harmon. She attended Rice Business College and was a Medical Secretary. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She is survived by her son, David Jones and wife Charlotte of Dallas, NC; 5grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Orander of James Island, Vivian Tisdale of Summerville and Verna Ruth Towler of Sumter, SC; and a brother, Joseph Freddie Harmon of North Charleston. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Allen Frank Harmon, Jr. and Edward C. Harmon.
