Virginia Calder Graham

Virginia Calder Graham, 100, of Summerville, South Carolina, widow of John A.Graham, Jr. entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 12, 2023. Her funeral service will be held at the graveside Thursday, August 17, 2023 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 10:00 a.m.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Virginia was born April 4, 1923 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter of the late Delacie Benjamin Calder and Elizabeth Meyer Calder.  She was a graduate of Murray Vocation High School and a former member of Ferndale Baptist Church. Virginia was a magnificent gardener.  Her yards were truly a thing of beauty.  Virginia was a world traveler, Europe, Israel and China just to name a few.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a friend to all who knew her.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Marilyn G. Pendergrass (Paul) of Star Prairie, WI; son, John A. Graham III (Denise) of Okatie, SC; and two granddaughters: Ellen Graham and Sara Pendergrass.
