Virginia Brown Henderson Godwin, 86, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Carroll Leigh Godwin passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015. Her Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in the French Huguenot Church, 136 Church Street. Interment will be at a later date. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. Virginia was born January 10, 1929 in Lake City, South Carolina, daughter of the late Fred Watkins Henderson and Vido Brown Henderson. She was a member of the French Huguenot Church.

She is survived by her children, Delta Amrhein and her husband, Phil of Mount Pleasant, SC and Fred Godwin and his wife, Kathryn of Panama City, FL; and her sister, Vera Floyd of Sumter, SC. She was also survived by her grandchildren, Leigh, Bay, Rachel, and Freddie; and her great-grandchildren, Ayden and Addison.
