Violet Wilson Adkins, 84, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of James Edward Adkins entered into eternal rest Friday, April 9, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
Violet was born May 19, 1936 in Wheelwright, Kentucky, daughter of the late Jesse Alonzo Wilson and Ethel Akers Wilson. She was retired from the Retail Merchantile industry.
She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Oltmann (Billy) of Charleston, SC; son, Edward E. Adkins (Faith) of Lancaster, KY; sister, Alice Fay Snodgrass (Bob) of Huntington, IN; and a granddaughter, Jessie Sparkman (Jason) of Junction City, KY.
