Victoria Ong Gako

Victoria Ong Gako, 82, of Ladson, SC, widow of MSCS (SW) Artemio Peras Ong Gako, USN Ret., died Thursday, April 28, 2016. Her Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 2, 2016 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Avenue at 10:30 am. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.
Victoria was born December 23, 1933 in Santa Maria ILOCOS SUR, Philippines, daughter of the late Tito Cabreros and the late Lorenza Domingo Cabreros. She was a Dentist in the Philippines. Victoria was active in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by daughter, Stella McCombs (Shawn) of Hanahan, SC; son, Steven Ong Gako of Ladson, SC; grandchildren: Colin, Ainsley and Reid McCombs of Hanahan, SC; four sisters; and one brother. She was preceded in death by her husband, her grandson, Logan McCombs, two sisters and one brother.
