Victor August Boudolf, Jr. (Butch), 64, beloved husband of Evelyn Marshall Boudolf (Lynn) of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 4, 2011.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Victor A. Boudolf, Jr., are invited to attend his funeral services in John Wesley United Methodist Church, Sunday, May 8, 2011, at 3:00 p.m.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Saturday between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Boudolf was born June 20, 1946, in Charleston, SC.  He graduated from St. Andrew's High School and earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University.  Mr. Boudolf worked at the Naval Shipyard for 6 years, NAVELEX for 6 years, and Mine Warfare Command for 8 years.  In 1984 he founded Computer Directions, a software company in Charleston, SC.

He was an active member of John Wesley United Methodist Church and the Red Williams Sunday School class.  He liked to fish, embellish stories, and tinker with just about anything.  It has been said that he did more living in the last 5 years, while struggling with ALS, than some people do in a lifetime.

Memorials may be made to John Wesley United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 626 Savannah Highway, Charleston, SC 29407 or the ALS Association South Carolina Chapter, 1064 Gardner Road, Suite 101, Charleston, SC 29407 or online www.scalsa.org.
