Vernon Vance Taylor

Vernon Vance Etheridge Taylor "Auntie V", 88, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Chester H. Taylor entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 31, 2013. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 4, 2013 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 232 Calhoun Street at 1:00 p.m. Interment, Bethany Cemtery. The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to the service in Stuhr's Downtown Chapel.

VV was born October 5, 1924 in Cope, South Carolina, daughter of David Etheridge and Annie Dukes Etheridge. She retired from Roper St. Francis as a records clerk. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Charleston, Daughters of America, Daughter of Confederacy and the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her brother, David Etheridge, Jr of Columbia, SC; numerous nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.
