Vernell "Pete" Closson, Cross, SC, died Thursday. Daughter of James W. and Lillian C. Weeks. Services Saturday, 8/11/ 2012 in J. Henry Stuhr Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2 pm. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Visitation Friday from 5 to 7 pm in Stuhr Northwoods Chapel. Memorials to Sandridge First Baptist Church, 4677 State Rd, Ridgeville SC 29472. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, James, Charles (Robin) and George (Debbie) Closson; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
