Verbia Arnold Quattlebaum, 91, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Paul Quattlebaum, Jr. entered into eternal rest Friday, May 17, 2013. Her funeral service will be held at the graveside in St. Johns Lutheran Churchyard Friday, May 24, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends in the Parish Hall following the service. Verbia was born September 21, 1921 in Nashville, Tennessee, daughter of Joel Arnold and Frances Parnell Arnold. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church. She retired as a Secretary with the Naval Supply Center. Verbia was a past president of the Charleston Garden Club.

She is survived by her three step daughters: Patricia Sue Quattlebaum and Margaret (Peggy) Q. Hahn and her husband Bob all of Charleston, SC and Reverend Laura (Joye) Q. Cantrell of Valdosta, GA; and seven step grandchildren.
