Vera B. Stalvey

Vera B. Stalvey, 88, formerly of Charleston, SC, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in Lancaster, SC. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Vera was born November 25, 1926 in Walterboro, SC, daughter of the late Ambrose P. Bazzel and the late Lila Valentine Bazzel. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Omar Greeterettes and Federated craft - Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by two sons, Randall Wayne Stalvey and his wife Denise Stalvey of Hanahan SC and David Eugene Stalvey and his wife Sherry Stalvey of Lancaster, SC; six grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister, Gladys Bernard of Hanahan, SC; one brother Milton Bazzel of James Island. She was preceded in death by her sister Thelma B Sanders, one son A. Roy Stalvey Jr. and her husband Arthur Roy Stalvey.

Memorials may be made to a Hospice of one's choice.
