Velda Gray Phillips Bruhn, 93, of Moncks Corner, SC, died Saturday, April 14, 2018. Her funeral service will be held Friday, April 20, 2018, at 2:00 pm in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 19, 2018, in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Velda was born May 13, 1924 in Buchanan, Tennessee, daughter of the late Willie Phillips and Dollie Sharp Ferris. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Simmons (Doug); son, Ralph Steven Bruhn (Paulette) all of Moncks Corner, SC; five grandchildren: Scott, Lorri, Cara (Charlie), Dana, Michael (Holly); great-grandchildren: Jessica, Spencer, Blake, Stephen, T.J., Whitney, Tyler, David, Carol, Carolina, Nora, Hannah and Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Bruhn.
