Vasil "Joe" Evanoff

Vasil "Joe" Evanoff, 99, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on the evening of Sunday, May 25, 2014. His Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 30, 2014 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road. Interment will follow in Dorchester Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Mr. Evanoff was born November 25, 1914 in Chicago, IL. He was a member of Northwood Church. He was married to his beloved wife, the late Diana Evanoff, for seventy-five years. Mr. Evanoff was a career employee of the Whirlpool Corporation, where he began as a draftsman and retired as the manager of plant engineering at one of their largest facilities.

Surviving are his two sons, Mel Evanoff (Vera) of Copper Harbor, MI and Larry Evanoff (Susan) of North Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Michele Hakim, Mark Evanoff, and Carlynn Carter; and his four great-grandchildren.
