Van Chau, 84, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Hanh Kim Duong Chau entered into eternal rest Friday, March 11, 2022. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 21, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in Stuhr Northwoods Chapel.

Van was born January 1, 1938 in Vietnam. He was a Commander in the Vietnamese Navy for nearly 20 years and a mechanic at Westvaco.

He is survived by his wife, Hanh Kim Chau; son, Chau N. KY; daughters, Chau N. Kim Uyen and Catherine Paige and her husband Todd; grandchildren, Owen Paige and Dylan Paige.
