Ursula Deissler Gaither

Ursula Deissler Gaither, 73, of Hanahan, SC, widow of Mickey Gaither, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 in the Advent Lutheran Church, 3347 Rivers Avenue at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.

Ursula was born June 2, 1943 in Neu-Isenburg, Germany the only child of Kreis Offenbach and Betty Deissler Offenbach. She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church and a former seamstress.

She is survived by two sons, Edward L. Gaither (Cynthia) of Hanahan, SC, Michael L. Gaither (Donna) of Hanahan, SC; two grandchildren, Courtney Gaither of North Charleston, SC and Zachary Gaither of Hanahan, SC; two dear and close friends, Mearle Leatherwood and Harold Byrd of Hanahan, SC; godchild, Petra Christensen of Neu-Isenburg, Germany.
