Tyler Houston Tumolo

Tyler Houston Tumolo, 23, of Charleston, South Carolina, left our world Friday, March 17, 2023. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 6:00 pm. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel.

Tyler was born September 5, 1999 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Robert Carl Tumolo and Tracy Houston Tumolo.  He was a driver for FedEx Ground and a bartender for Kaminsky’s Dessert Cafe. From a young age, Tyler loved cars, especially Mustangs. During his short life, he achieved his dream of owning multiple Mustangs including his favorite, a 2004 red Mustang SVT Cobra. We knew from an early age that he was a mathematical and financial wizard- a skill that served him in all aspects of his life. He was a passionate Carolina Panthers fan. As a toddler, he always had a football in his hands, even when he was sleeping. As a teenager and young adult, he visited multiple stadiums to see the Carolina Panthers play. His work ethic was unmatched, but he took time to live life to the fullest, making great memories with his friends and family. He was goofy and silly and brought joy and laughter to his family and friends. He burned bright while he was here, and he will be missed dearly. He left our world too soon, but he will always be in our hearts.

In addition to his parents, Tyler is survived by his sister, Jessica (Gil Rodriguez) Tumolo; grandparents, Robert and Judy Houston; grandmother, Deborah (Scott) Anderson; great-grandmother, Martha Edwards; uncle, Robbie (Cara) Houston; cousin, Ethan Houston; aunt, Tammy Edwards Davis; cousin, Codi Davis; girlfriend, Danielle Gordon; and countless other family and friends.
