TSGT. Virgil Ray Fallis (Ret. USAF)

TSGT. Virgil Ray Fallis (Ret. USAF), 88, of Awendaw, South Carolina, husband of Eleanor "Ellie" Genske Fallis died Sunday, May 1, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 5:00 until 7:00 pm.

Ray was born December 14, 1927 in Luray, Kansas, son of the late Ivan Price Fallis and the late Valeria Maude Case Fallis. He served during World War II and the Korean Conflict in the Navy and retired from the United States Air Force as a Tech Sergeant. He was a member of Alhambra Masonic Lodge #60 and a member of the OES.

Ray is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eleanor Fallis of Awendaw, SC; son, Harold E. Fallis and his wife, Donna, of Awendaw, SC; daughter, Linda S. Winters and her husband, Richard, of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren, Caroline Fallis, Christopher Fallis and his wife, Ashley, and Cody Winters.
