TSGT Ron Alford USAF (Ret.), 86, of Ladson, South Carolina, entered into Heaven with his heavenly father Monday, July 1, 2024. His memorial service will be held Monday, July 8, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Ron was born April 29, 1938 in Conway, South Carolina, son of Charles Alford and Aileen Hucks Alford. He loved his family and spending time with his grandkids. Ron retired as a TSGT in the United States Air Force Reserves in 1990 and then went on to retire from Charleston Air Force Base Civil Service.

He is survived by children: Sandy Haven (Randy) of Ladys Island, SC, Tara Alford of Ladson, SC, Lisa Tucker (Jody) of Ridgeville, SC and Paul Alford (Susan) of Summerville,SC; five grandchildren; nine grandchildren; siblings: William Woodward (Dianne) of Hanahan, SC and Richard Woodward (Richard) of Johns Island, SC.
