TSgt. Frank Edward Harrington, USAF Ret.

TSgt. Frank Edward Harrington, USAF Ret, 84, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 28, 2016. His funeral services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., North Area Chapel.

Frank was born October 8, 1931 in Colon Republic of Panama, son of Charles Albert Harrington and Wilma Adele Royster. He retired from the US Air Force as a Tech Sergeant. He served during the Vietnam war in Thailand. He also retired as a procurement officer at the Charleston Naval Shipyard. Frank was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Robinson Harrington of North Charleston, SC; children: Lynda Anne Reary (John), Jane Elizabeth Sottile (Michael) all of Lenoir, NC, Kimberly Robin Brown (Darryl) of Charleston, SC and Charles "Chuck" Edward Harrington of Summerville, SC; nine grandchildren: Heather Leigh Allen, Anna Grace Newlin, Melody Rose Harrington, Jeffrey Martin Brown, Thomas Martin Brown, Richard Douglas Ayers, Jan Elizabeth Hughey, Jon Lawrence Reary and Lara Lynn Ayers; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way; brother, William A. Harrington of Newnan, GA. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles A. Harrington.
