Trudi Fischer Weiner

Trudi Fischer Weiner, from 2/27/37 in the Bronx, N.Y. to Sandra Snyder and Bernard Fischer. Graduated 1953 William Howard Taft H.S., NYU School of Commerce (Stern) 1957. Studied retailing and advertising. Took studio art with Philip Guston, Artist in Residence 1956-1957. Was Art Editor for the NYU yearbook-- Varsity magazine-- Secretary Student Council cabinet-- Senior + Junior prom committee. Won IIC Wicked Woman Contest to raise money for MS Telethon, secretary staff yearbook. 

Worked Lanes Department Store part time at 15 on and off through 1956-- part time Steinberg Kass 1956-1957 after graduation worked Steinberg Kass tell. Married Stanley Weiner Soulmate in 1959-- assistant buyer. 

Worked at Hutzlers in Baltimore 1 year asst. buyer and then as a preprofessional at Pikesville Library. 

Moved back to New York and worked at Jack Braunstein associate Buyer Dresses, Frank Miller Wedding Dresses buyer. 

Worked Nice Stuff in Charleston, SC; Nancy's Charleston, SC; and Nice Ice.

New York Studio Pottery and Sculpture classes.

Moved to Florida where I lost the love of my life, Stanley, moved back to Charleston, worked at Nice Ice Jewelers 23 years until retirement.

Have two beautiful caring daughters: Hillary Weiner Turchin (Jay), Bari Weiner Sholomon (Andy). 2 grandchildren, Sydney Turchin and Ari Sholomon. 2 sisters, Lois Grossman, Diane Fischer-- 5 nieces. 

Belonged to NCJW-- Hadassah -- League of Women Voters-- Planned Parenthood-- Emily's List
