Trilby Faustine Nichols

Trilby Faustine Nichols, 94, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late John Edward Nichols, entered into eternal rest Friday, December 5, 2025. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Wednesday, one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Trilby was born December 3, 1931 in Jellico, Tennessee, daughter of the late Andrew Sheldon Macreadie and Trilby Wilson Macreadie. Trilby enjoyed watching and feeding birds in her backyard. She would spend hours cross stitching, knitting, or crocheting while enjoying classical music in the background. She loved her plants and always had a plethora of plants growing in and out of her home. She and her husband would spend many days on their boat cruising along the river. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends, but her heart was always in Jellico, her hometown.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancye Kutch (Michael) of Wadmalaw, SC, and Beth Filer of Charleston, SC; granddaughter, Jennifer Rowe (Billy) of Moncks Corner, SC; Daniel Phillips, Jr (Lindsey) of Simpsonville, SC; Michael T Kutch, III (Kimberly) of Johns Island, SC. She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren: Caleb Rowe, Emma Rowe, Greyson Phillips, Madelyn Phillips, and Jacob Kutch.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Sheldon Macreadie and Trilby Wilson Macreadie.
