Travis Edward Brown

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of January 29, 2011, Travis Edward Brown.  Residence, Ravenel, SC.  The relatives and friends of Travis E. Brown are invited to attend his funeral services on Wednesday  February 2, 2011 at 11am in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.  Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the chapel on Tuesday between 6pm and 8pm. 

Mr. Brown was born on April 15, 1977 in Charleston, SC the son of Edward L. Brown and the late Martha Sue Morris Brown.  Travis graduated from St. Paul Country Day in 1995, where he excelled in all sports.  Travis was a die hard Gamecock fan and a dedicated father.  Travis was employed by Charleston County Mosquito Abatement where he had achieved the position of Supervisor.  Travis will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his father, Edward L. Brown of Ravenel, SC; paternal grandfather, Bunnie E. Brown of Ravenel, SC; maternal grandmother, Treva Jarvis and her husband, Bob of St. George, SC; maternal grandfather, Reverend John Morris of Murrells Inlet, SC,  one daughter, Taylor McTeer Brown of Walterboro, SC; one brother, Joseph Edward Brown of Ravenel, SC; four aunts, Betty Williamson and her husband, Larry of Hanahan, SC, Lilly Hady and her husband, Jim of Ravenel, SC, Resa Doyle and her husband, Rob of Columbia, SC and Jane Brown of North Charleston, SC; one uncle, Johnny Morris and his wife, Lee of Givhans, SC; he is also survived by several cousins.

He was predeceased by his mother; a paternal grandmother, Ollie M. Brown; two uncles, Mark Morris and Buddy Brown.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
