Travis Scott Brewer

Travis Scott Brewer, 24, of James Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 29, 2012. A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 2, 2012 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Travis was born July 28, 1988 in Charleston, South Carolina, the son of Charles Anthony "Boze" Brewer and Jacqueline Scott Brewer. He was an employee of Cibo's Restaurant on James Island.

Travis was a lifelong resident of Charleston and attended James Island Charter High School. He always brought a smile to the faces of his many friends. From the time he was a small child, he had a passion for the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who had an extensive knowledge of the woods and wildlife. In this venue, Travis made many lifelong friends who shared their mutual love of the outdoors.

Travis will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by the love of his life Emily Gepford and their son Brantley Hunter Brewer. He is also survived by his father, Charles Anthony Brewer of Charleston, SC, mother, Jacqueline Scott Brewer, grandmother, Dorothy N. Scott of Ft. Wayne, IN, four sisters, Becky Heath (Bubba) of Charleston, SC, Jill Morrison Brewer of Johns Island, SC, Sarah Katelyn Brewer of Ravenel, SC, Jennifer Alexis Brewer of James Island, SC, niece, Rachel Heath of James Island, SC and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
