Tracey "Trae" Blaine Hodson, 48, of Awendaw, South Carolina, husband of Michelle Fanelli Hodson died Tuesday, October 18, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and an hour before the service on Saturday.

Trae was born August 10, 1968 in Columbus, Indiana, son of Teddy L. and Linda Hodson and the late Karen S. Menefee. Trae served in the US Navy and Army.

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we have to say goodbye to such a great husband and friend. His infectious laugh, positive attitude, and witticisms made him the special person we were so privileged to have shared a part of our lives with. He loved SC Gamecock football, the Indiana Colts, and spending time with his children and family.

In addition to his wife, Michelle, he is survived by his three children, Savannah, Salvatore, and Sydney; his step-father, Donald E. Coovert (Crystal); his siblings, Scott L. Hodson (Chris), Paige Upchurch (Jay), twin brother, Trevor L. Hodson (Jill), Jimmy Coovert (Becky), John Coovert, Christy Hord (Mike) and Stephanie Snapp (Kevin); his father-in-law, Salvatore D. Fanelli and wife, Glenna; his brother-in-law, Scott D. Fanelli (Julie); numerous nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles; and many dear friends including Jeff and Becky Eisenhut and Gene Verzaal.
