Tony Gale Spivey

Entered into eternal rest on March 19, 2011, Tony Gale Spivey, of Charleston, South Carolina.  The relatives and friends of Tony Spivey are invited to attend his funeral service Thursday, March 24, 2011 at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 11 am.  Committal Services will be conducted later.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 7 until 9 pm. 

Tony was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on July 27, 1954, son of Herbert Ray Spivey and Catherine Wright Spivey.  He worked in Outside Electrical Industrial Sales and was of the Episcopal faith.  Tony was a member of the Pro Bowler's Association and had multiple perfect games.  He was an accomplished golfer, tennis and pool player with a love of life and very proud of his family.

He is survived by a son, Jason Renn Spivey of Charleston; three daughters, Abbey Lynwood Spivey of Summerville, Krista Hair Willis and her husband Matt Willis of Summerville, Chrissy Risher and her husband Ryan Risher of Charleston; a brother, Michael W. Spivey and his wife Paula J. Spivey of Charleston; six grandchildren; and a niece, Jennifer Lauren Spivey.
