Thomas C. Pierce, Sr., 76, of Moncks Corner, SC, died Thursday, August 17, 2017. His graveside service will be held Monday, August 28, 2017 at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Tommy was born December 19, 1940 in Berkeley County, SC, son of the late Ben A. Pierce and Estelle Mitchum Pierce. He retired after more than 40 years as a mechanic for Westvaco. As a licensed contractor, he also built homes.

He is survived by two sons, Thomas C. Pierce, Jr. of Moncks Corner, SC and Chris Pierce (Judee) of Goose Creek, SC; brother, Frank Pierce of Savannah, GA; granddaughter, Jonie Scott; great-grandchildren, Dakota and Parker Goodyear. He was preceded in death by his wife Roxanne Pierce and his brother, Roy Pierce.
