Timothy Ethan Maahs

Timothy Ethan Maahs, 41, of Hanahan, SC, died suddenly, Sunday, January 1, 2017. His funeral service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. The burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Tim was born September 25, 1975 in Newport News, VA, son of Sydney Elaine Grannis White and the late Carl Ernest Maahs, Jr. Tim graduated Lee High School, Springfield, VA and received his business degree at the College of Charleston, Charleston, SC. He was co-owner of Charleston Beer Works. Tim was a licensed pilot, enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

He is survived by his mother Sydney White (Bill) of Culpeper, VA; brother, Carl E. Maahs, III (Melanie) of Fairfax, VA; sister, Tammy Pearl (Joe) of Suffolk, VA; nieces and nephew: Tayler Pearl, Meghan Pearl, Lydia Pearl, Carl E. Maahs, IV and Allie Maahs.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
