Tillman Norwood Hatchell, Jr., 69, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Mary Dixon Hatchell passed away on Monday, October 7, 2013. Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Graveside in the Waccamaw Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Highway 701, Bucksport, SC. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Tillman was born October 31, 1943 in Conway, South Carolina, son of the late Tillman Norwood Hatchell and Edna Moore Hatchell. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a member of the Shriners, and was raised in the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church. Tillman loved being outdoors and anything to do with the outdoors.
He is survived his wife, Mary Dixon Hatchell of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his son, Robbie Baturin of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his step-daughter, Evelyn Rogers of Greer, SC; his step-son, Dixon Rogers of Simpsonville, SC; and his brother, David Hatchell and his wife, Candace of Mt. Pleasant, SC.
