Tilla Nussbaum Liberman, 90, of Charleston, South Carolina, first married to the Late Leon Sabel and widow of Sam Liberman entered into eternal rest Monday, December 24, 2012. Her funeral service at the graveside will be held Tuesday, December 25, 2012 in Brith Sholom Beth Israel Cemetery "Maryville", Sycamore Avenue at 10:00 a.m.
Tilla was born July 20, 1922 in Ehrhardt, South Carolina, daughter of Israel Nussbaum and Lena Rosendorn Nussbaum. She was a member of Brith Sholom Beth Israel Synagogue, BSBI Sisterhood, Haddassah and Charleston Chapter of Jewish Women.
She is survived by two sons: Sandford D. Sabel (Stephanie) of Tampa, FL, Jeffery L. Sabel of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren: Steven Saperstein (Sheila) of Jacksonville, FL, Dana Saperstein of Nashville, TN; two great grandchildren: Jacob, Jason; two step children: Arthur Liberman, Robert Liberman; one brother: Maurice B. Nussbaum (Claire) and one sister, Rae N. Denmark, both of Charleston, SC; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Irene S. Saperstein and her sister Minnie N. Sherman.
