Tiffaney Hazel-Faust, 50, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Michael Daniels Faust, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 6, 2024. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 10, 2024, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street, at 11:00 am. A graveside service following the funeral service will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, James Island, Fort Johnson Road at 2:00 pm.
Tiffaney was born January 31, 1973, in Charleston, South Carolina, the daughter of Howard Adams Hazel and the late Marvette Colson Hazel. Raised on James Island, she grew up in the Baptist faith and attended Citadel Square Baptist Church. She graduated from the new James Island High School, Class of 1991. She went on to attend the University of South Carolina and graduated with a degree in psychology. Tiffaney was an avid book reader and had a strong love for animals and children. After college, she worked in different areas, but eventually followed her heart which led her to start volunteering at Pet Helpers Adoption Center, along with fostering many animals over the years. Her love for animals was very strong and ended up working for Pet Helpers for almost 10 years. Animals became a passion for the rest of her life and helped save so many animals during her time. She fought hard against her cancer until the end (2 years and 2 months). God can only take the good people and she was one of the greatest in the world. She touched the hearts of many, along with her heart being full of kindness, love, generosity, and positivity toward others, but she will always live on through her family. God has once again brought another Angel home to Heaven. We will miss her terribly, but we WILL meet again!
She is survived by her husband, Michael Daniels Faust of Charleston, S.C.; her two children Logan Ashley Faust (daughter) and Michael Hunter Faust (son) of Charleston, S.C.; her father, Howard Adams Hazel of Charleston, S.C.; her sister, Kim (Greg) Hazel-Lohr of Lexington, S.C. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Karen (Rob) Faust English of Leesburg, F.L.; her nieces, Callie Rene’ Lohr of Lexington, S.C., Caroline Walling Metzger of Charlotte, N.C., Kathryn Walling of Leesburg, F.L; and special family members of the heart, Joyce (Don) Mustain of Crosby, TX, along with numerous other family members.
