Throney 'Toni' Murrell Stramm, 99, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Herman August Stramm entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Her Graveside Service will be private.

Toni was born April 24, 1921 in McClellanville, South Carolina, daughter of the late John Rutledge Murrell and Ellen Brinson Murrell. She was a Former Chaplain for American Legion Post # 147 and VFW Post #445. Toni was a DOE and a charter member of the Senior Center. She was also a lifelong member of Asbury - St. James United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Carol S. Keen of Waynesboro, GA, and Dale Rochester Coleman (Leonard) of Gainesville, GA; one son, Kenneth M. Stramm (Margie) of Summerville, SC; seven grandchildren, James R. Keen III, Joseph Stramm, Andrew Stramm, Erin Brown, Kelly Brown, Darrell Rochester and Brian Rochester; seven great- grandchildren and one great – great - grandchild.
Toni was preceded in death by her sister Virginia Lee and her granddaughter Jamie Keen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Asbury-St. James United Methodist Church, 754 Rutledge Avenue, Charleston, SC 29403.
