Thomas L. Sottile, 47, devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, son, and friend, died of cancer at home in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 in Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive, at 10:30 am. Thomas Lawrence Sottile, the son of Judith Horne Sottile and the late James Sottile III, was born in Vero Beach, Florida and raised in Indialantic, Florida. He graduated from Melbourne High School and attended the University of Florida at Gainesville. A gifted and successful businessman, he was involved with the operation of his company, JTJ Investments, until shortly before his death. Mr. Sottile had successfully developed a thriving Dunkin' Donuts franchise in Savannah, Georgia, after rehabbing and expanding a franchise in Charleston, South Carolina. He was an active member of Christ Our King Catholic Church parish in Mount Pleasant.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Ann Wisk Sottile; daughter, Kelli-Ann; and son, Thomas; his mother, four siblings, nine nephews and a niece. His quiet strength and generosity of spirit are a tremendous loss for all who knew and loved him.
