Thomas Lewis Seeney, Jr.

Thomas Lewis Seeney, Jr., 64, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Jamie Miller Seeney died Sunday, May 27, 2018. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 7, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road. The family will receive friends in the Mount Pleasant Chapel on Thursday from 12:00 pm until time of the service.

Thomas was born October 9, 1953 in Pennsville, New Jersey, son of Thomas Lewis Seeney, Sr. and Louise Counselor Seeney. He attended the Baptist College on a track scholarship and was a retired lineman for Berkeley Electric Company. He was an active member of St. John's Parish Church, John's Island, where he sang in the choir.

He is survived by wife, Jamie Seeney of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one daughter, Laura S. Nielson of Charleston, SC and three step-children, Shandy S. Watson (Richard) of Johns Island, SC, Christopher Anderson (Julia) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Rachel Hall of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Carol Rutkowski of Maryland, Dottie Thornton of Arizona and eleven grandchildren.
