Thomas Albert Robbins, Sr.,70, of Macclenny, Florida, husband of Darlene "Dolly" Byrd Robbins entered into eternal rest Friday, November 28, 2014. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 2:00 pm until time of the service . Thomas was born August 10, 1944 in Montezuma, Georgia, son of the late Thomas Webb Robbins and Lizzie Poole Robbins Head. He retired as a truck driver with the Merita Bread Company, and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Darlene "Dolly" Robbins of Macclenny, FL; three sons, Thomas A. "Al" Robbins, Jr. (Melinda) of Byron, GA, Joseph George Webb "Joey" Robbins (Debbie) of Jacksonville, FL, and Thomas Albert Robbins, III (Meiche Jones) of Jacksonville, FL; four daughters, Samantha R. Harden (Wally) of Jacksonville, FL, Donna R. Childers (Bruce) of Birmingham, AL, Angela "Angel" R. Gresham (Robert) of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Amanda R. Kerr (Danny) of Macclenny, FL; two brothers, James Malcolm "JM" Robbins of Chatham, GA, and Don Kimble Robbins of Ft. Valley, GA; 21 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
