Thomas "Tom" Mitchell Prosser, 94, of Johns Island, South Carolina, husband of Sylvia Jo Hucks Prosser, entered into eternal rest Monday, September 22, 2025. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service.

Tom was born August 27, 1931 in Hemingway, South Carolina, son of the late Refus Prosser and Neva Sanders Prosser. He was retired from the United States Air Force. Tom was a devoted member of Carolina Bay Baptist Church. His favorite hobby was fishing.

In addition to his wife of 60 years, he is survived by his daughter, Patricia Krull of Seligman, MO; granddaughter, Terry Lynn Smallwood (Jeramiah); four great-grandsons, Dakota, Kendall, Landen, and Connor of Rolla, MO; two brothers, Michael Prosser, and Willis Prosser.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Elizabeth Prosser, Jane Gore, Carrie Lee Prosser, Lynette Tanner; brothers, Clarence Prosser, Tommy Prosser, and Frank Prosser.
