Thomas A. Ouzts, 56, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Friday, April 7, 2017. His family will host a Gathering of Friends Thursday, April 13, 2017 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Tom was born July 27, 1960, in Warner Robins, Georgia, son of the late James Ray Ouzts and the late Elizabeth Ann Duggan Ouzts. He was a carpenter who took pride in his workmanship. Tom loved to fish and enjoyed time on the beautiful creeks and marshes of his beloved Lowcountry. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Summer Nicole Ouzts of Piedmont, SC; his partner, Ruth Miller of Mount Pleasant, SC; and his brother, Richard Ouzts, of Greenwood, SC.
