Thomas John Mitchell

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of April 23, 2011, Thomas John Mitchell, husband of Lynn Reynolds Mitchell.  Residence, Charleston, SC.   The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mitchell are invited to attend his memorial visitation Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL from 6 until 8 pm. 

Thomas was born in Stockton, California on November 23, 1952, son of the late William and June Morris Mitchell.  He was a United States Navy veteran and was a Navy Seal.  Thomas was a retired roofer and was a member of Unity Church.

Surviving are his wife Lynn Mitchell of Charleston; a son, David Mitchell of Charleston; two step-sons, Spc. Ronald Drappeaux of Ft. Stewart, GA and James Wanke of Clarkston, MI; two sisters, Angie Curtis of North Carolina and Debra Brown of Richmond, VA; a brother, Charles Mitchell of Richmond VA; ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
