Thomas Francis Legare

Thomas Francis Legare, 74, of Goose Creek, SC, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, March 19, 2013. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013, in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge at 2:00 pm. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Legare was born February 20, 1939 in Cainhoy, SC. His wife, Rosa Lee Legare preceded him to the Lord in 2005. He was the son of the late Joseph Legare and the late Jeanie Morris Legare. He served in the US Coast Guard and Reserves and was a Boiler Maker at the Charleston Naval Shipyard.

He is survived by his children and their spouses: son, Charles and Michelle Legare of Goose Creek, SC, son, Perry and Betty Legare, Moncks Corner, SC, son, Glenn and Joanne Legare, Moncks Corner, SC, daughter, Sissy Shumpert, Bonneau, SC, son, Kenneth and Rajean Legare of Bonneau, SC, daughter, Barbara and Chris Dibble, Jacksonville, FL, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
